Staying Sane and Human in a Collapsing World

COME SIT WITH IT
Community & Mutual Aid...

I'm tired of mental health advice that ignores the fact that we're living through unprecedented collective trauma while being told individual self-care is the solution. Sometimes anxiety is a rational response to irrational circumstances.

          ------ MICHELL C CLARK

YOU'RE NOT ALONE.

What if our loneliness and anxiety are an appropriate response to intolerable circumstances?

Come “sit with it.”

CLIMATE & GRIEF CIRCLES

A space to feel what we feel.

Not to fix it. Just to not be alone in it.

Dates coming soon...

OUR WORLD IS ENDING. LET'S MAKE SOUP.

YOU'RE INVITED:

 • community gatherings • witnessing & listening • community grief •

climate circles • climate walks • community care & mutual aid

A world is ending. Not the world. A world.

The one we were born into.

Where we were taught what's normal

and what is not.

More and more we see what trouble we're in  with 'normal'.

And how little access to the so-called normal

many of our siblings and more-than-human beings have.

"What if modernity is a construct and not a given? What if modernity is flawed, based on false assumptions, born out of colonial violence and exploitation, and is, well, dying?"

SOPHIE BUCHAILLARD on:

VANESSA ANDREOTTI: HOSPICING MODERNITY

The world is fast. This is not.

"Times are urgent. Let us slow down."

BAYO AKOMOLAFE

Slowing down is most likely the first step out of our predicament, out of the paradigm that got us here.

"The master's tools will never dismantle the master's house."

AUDRE LORDE

"There are some things too big to feel in one body. You need a collective body to move them through."

PRENTIS HEMPHILL

"Grief is subversive, undermining the quiet agreement to behave and be in control of our emotions. It is an act of protest that declares our refusal to live numb and small."

FRANCIS WELLER

“Knowing that you love the earth changes you, activates you to defend and protect and celebrate. But when you feel that the earth loves you in return, that feeling transforms the relationship from a one-way street into a sacred bond.”

“The land knows you, even when you are lost.”

ROBIN WALL KIMMERER

"Liberated relationships are one of the ways we actually create abundant justice, the understanding that there is enough attention, care, resource, and connection for all of us to access belonging, to be in our dignity, and to be safe in community."

ADRIENNE MAREE BROWN

“Mutual aid encounters people in crisis and says: ‘You should have everything you need, and it is the systems that are to blame for these crises, not you.’”

DEAN SPADE

Come if you’re tired.

Stay if it feels like home.

You don’t have to fix anything to belong.

A Gathering for Embodied Storytelling, Deep Listening & Regenerative Practice.

As human beings we are wired for connection.

Sharing isn’t about impressing -- it's about becoming. Through witnessing. Ourselves and each other. Remembering that stories live in our bodies.

Stories are how we shape reality.

They’re how we carry culture -- and how we change it.

And right now, we need stories that reconnect us to what matters:

our bodies, the earth, and each other.

🐢 The Wild Cards

You may find one of our cards in the wild.

Tucked into a library book, resting on a café table, or slipped into the back of the seat on your train at just the right moment.

Each one is a quiet invitation.

If you’ve received one — welcome.

If you haven’t yet — here’s your own to print or share:

💛 Print them, love them, leave them outside, gift them to someone.

Let the rebellion ripple.
